THE HISTORY: “A Truly Dream Dress designed with Sicilian Roots and History”…The Sweetest Vintage hand made Dream Dress that I originally bought in Sicily almost 20 years ago sat in my closet waiting to be worn but never did because she wasn’t my size.I always dreamed of recreating her but with a “FIORI twist” and so I did … I’m proud to say this is now my 6 launch of this Beautiful Dress over the past 4 years.
“La Villetta” meaning the “Little Cottage” or “Campagna” ,while the “Cottagecore” trend centers around the romanticization of a simpler time and life, it always been the norm for us at FIORI when we share our yearly “SICILIAN SUMMER collection “it definitely takes prairie dressing to an entirely new and romantic level in 2021 inspired by our Summers spent in my moms town of Mistretta in Campagna at little quaint cottage, nestling in the Sicilian hills.
This vintage-inspired piece blends influences by a romanticized interpretation from a more simple pastoral life and harmony with nature, notable our modernized version of the prairie silhouette.A versatile Dream dress with detachable ribbon tie straps, a comfortable front corseted bodice that can be folded down and worn as a Skirt giving the Perfect silhouette waistline with sweeping double ruffle hem. Dress has a beautiful bustled back with fabric covered button -- The SICILY Dress is dramatic, romantic beauty at its best.
This unique piece is embellished with a FIORI “MARIA LUCIA” ( named after my Mom)Vintage style flower Pin/clip that can be attached to the back bustle, Hair or Hat brim . She will be available in Limited Collection also for Fall,Winter in Vintage fabrics and new Spring and Summer of 2022.

DETAILS: Our 2 tone of white and off white shaded Dress has lined bodice with boning, removable ribbon-tie straps, back invisible zipper , eye hook closure ,pockets hidden in the side seams and the bottom hem is finished with 2 layers of voluminous ruffles. Add a tulle undershirt for a more voluminous fit.
FIT: Fits true to size chart, structured corset "held in" fit through bodice, easy fit across hips. If you are in-between sizes in the bust you may want to consider a size up. Full skirt hits at mid-calf, fits most petites without overwhelming.
FABRIC: 100% Natural Poplin Fabric.We use batches of limited, vintage, or upcycled fabrics, sustainably made & sustainably sourced.

* NOTE : Dress has a Corseted style front but NOT intended to be use for waist reduction , only to be worn comfortably . DO NOT Lace tightly as for this garment has a Dress zipper , not a Corset zipper. Lacing too tightly could cause zipper to be damaged and break . No Refunds or exchanges.
