HUMMINGBIRD EMPIRE Metal corset

The delicate gold mesh base is adorned with blooming copper and rose-gold flowers and exquisite cloisonné hummingbirds. Each bird is meticulously handcrafted using the ancient cloisonné technique — vibrant enamel colors separated by delicate gold wires, giving them a luminous, jewel-like shimmer in shades of sapphire, emerald, and turquoise. These tiny cloisonné birds appear to flutter and dance around the body, frozen mid-flight as if they could take off at any moment.

The corset features interchangeable branches that can be removed or rearranged — two for the hips and one that serves as a detachable back bustle .When removed, the back piece also doubles beautifully as wall art. A few of  the dangling cloisonné hummingbirds can be removed and rearranged .

This will be my last couture metal corset for the year before retirement. L’Empire des Oiseaux — a living garden you can wear, transform, and display.
