Vintage Candy Tin Bag
Regency-era historical drama set in 1813 London did offer much in the way of style inspiration, our new viewing obsession “Bridgerton” series. Between never too-tight corsets, chaotic courting rituals, and abundance of Decadent colorful plumes....and then there’s the very important symbol of the Bumble Bee...
This one of a kind a wonderful and unique Vintage Murray-Allen Regal Crown candy tin. It has a pale ice cream pastels honeycomb design background with Victorian lovers on the front and back. On the top is a handle that had been embellished with a brass metal bow hand painted in teal blue and acrylic Floral chain borders as on side paneled with matching brass chain handle.
The inside of tin with natural rust and wear has decoupage with beautiful acid-bright florals and pinstripes adding to its feminine beauty. To add a final detail a removable delicate hand dyed Blush Ostrich plume charm hangs on the side of the chain handle, can be attatto ribbon and worn as a necklace statement piece.
Measurements are as follows:
Length: 6 ¼”
Width: 3 ½”
Chain handle 14 inches
In 1953, the Regal Crown formula was born from a partnership with Murray Allen and Trebor Basset. Trebor, the premier high boil sweets manufacturer of the UK, exclusively manufactured all Regal Crown products, while Murray Allen became the exclusive distributor for Regal Crown in the United States.
